The book is filled with over the top characters, great ideas and a compelling story line. The writer, Roald Dahl, really is a creative genius. It will leave your kids wanting more.

The Chronicles of Narnia

Narnia is about the Pevensie children. The youngest Lucy Pevensie stumbles upon a wardrobe during a game of hide and seek. She enters the wardrobe which turns out to be a portal to a magical world.
Narnia is ruled by a wicked witch who has cast a spell to keep the land in an perpetual winter. The children take up the quest to free Narnia from her evil rule.
C.S. Lewis is an excellent writer and the Chronicles of Narnia is filled with adventure, magical beings and a great stories. 






Green Eggs and Ham

The book teaches some very important lessons, in a way that a young child are able to understand. It teaches a child not to be afraid to try new things, that we don't know what we can do until we try and that things are not always as they seem.

The book is written in a very simple fun way. Children tend to pick it, to be read to them, again and again. Eventually they know the book by heart. Because they do, it is also a great first book for them to read, once they learn how to.

This book is about Sophie an orphanage girl. One night she is kidnapped by the big friendly giant. He is one of 7 giants who live on earth. The BFG is a vegetarian while the other 6 eat people.

Sophie and the BFG find out that the other giants have a plan to eat the queen of England. They set out on an quest to save the queen.
